  • LAMBORGHINI HAS OFFICIALLY INTRODUCED ITS FIRST ELECTRIC CAR.

Lamborghini has officially introduced its first electric car.

Lamborghini, the supercar brand of German automaker Volkswagen, is undecided about internal combustion engines.

The brand's CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, told a German weekly newspaper that they wanted to keep the internal combustion engine vehicles alive after 2030.

The entire automotive world has entered a race to switch to electric cars. Italian manufacturer Lamborghini also entered this market, albeit late.

Lamborghini unveils its first electric model

Lamborghini introduced the Lanzador, its first fully electric supercar. The company showcased its car for the first time as part of Monterey Car Week.

The car, which looks like it came out of science fiction movies, bears traces of the Urus and Sian models.

Lamborghini has not yet revealed technical details of the Lanzador, such as range, battery, charge capacity and how much it goes from 0 to 100.

The most important thing we know about the car is that it will come with a twin engine producing 1 megawatt power, equivalent to 1341 horsepower.

To be released in 2028

At the beginning of our news, we mentioned that Lamborghini is not in a hurry for electric vehicles.

The company plans to launch its car, which is currently in the concept stage, in 2028.
